Driven by a passionate belief that technology expands horizons and adds fire to the imagination, we’ve been experimenting with techniques to tell stories in a non-linear fashion since the inception of the company - the vision is in the name, Fablemaze.
By developing expertise in; story development, interactive design, film production & distribution, media innovation and prototyping we've slowly but deliberately been working towards our goal of creating meaningful tech-augmentation in long form narrative projects - and the systems and processes to repeat and improve them.
The platform and application below have come from this steady gestation and will be available for creators and distributors to connect with their audience - with added tools for title personalisation, preference control and added value through deep data analysis.
Please get in touch if you are interested to collaborate in development and testing, we'd love to hear from you.
The Fablemaze Player.
The FMP (yes we'll need a new name) is a distribution platform that adds useful tools to exploring films and podcasts. It’s functionality that we wanted to be able to use and play with ourselves - some things that already exist and some don’t but not all in one place.
We will release a private Beta in 2021 with some new and old content for users to enjoy in a whole new fashion. We aim to make the technology publicly available in 2022.
If you want to get involved in testing in development we'd love to hear from you, please drop us a line.
An application accessed through the Fablemaze Player, StoryEngine powered titles will use large data set analysis combined with bespoke writing and production processes to deliver films that are different by design, every time.
The concept and development work behind StoryEngine actually predates the FMP, we have been testing for a number of years, but the core ideas always felt out of reach, until now.
We are currently developing a pathfinder project to demonstrate the key concepts and technologies at play, and in 2022 we aim to commence our first StoryEngine powered feature film.
